We're all hiding some Beauty within the Beast.

Actually, in truth, we're all beautiful, inside and out. However... I needed a cool title :) So live with it.  Anyway.

Beauty and the Beast!! It opens on Monday the 14th and runs all the way till the 22nd with a matinee performance on Saturday the 19th.  The curtains will open at 7:00 P.M.(1:00 P.M. for the Saturday matinee).  Tickets are $6 for Students and $7 for Adults in advance, $7 and $8 at the door.

  This is going to be such an amazing show.  The cast, crew, orchestra, and directors have all worked so hard and put so much time and effort into making this a high quality performance.  It is a guarantee that you will enjoy and love watching Lone Peak's Beauty and the Beast.

Beignets...what more could you ask for?

Once upon a time food is great. So are Disney movies. So a party with a Disney movie and great food is a double-whammy, correct? I concur. Therefore, you should all come to the November Drama Club Activity!! Huzzah!

What: A Princess and the Frog themed movie party with games, music, and lots of great food :)

When: November 5th: The starting time is 7:30

Where: 5656 West 10930 North Highland, Utah (Sarah Mae Ogden's house)

****Costumes are highly encouraged!!  Drama Council will be in 1920's attire but you can come dressed as your favorite character, 1920's, or just whatever as long as it is appropriate :)

Congratulations!

Congratulations to our Shakespeare team who competed with success down in Cedar City! They placed second in ensemble and third in sweepstakes, with Abram Rice and Keaton Kitchen placing third with their scene from Macbeth. Thanks for everyone who gave support! And a big thanks to Brooke and Chase Grant :)

Evening of Shakespeare

Come and support our Shakespeare team!! :) We will be doing the first half of Macbeth in 10 minutes and lots of different scenes and monologues!

What: Basically the coolest thing ever.

Where: Lone Peak Auditorium

When: Wednesday(tomorrow) at 7:00

How much: $3 for students/seniors and $5 for adults

Post Script: There will be banana splits afterward for all of those on the team and in the drama club! :) 

Productions Headshots

Productions: remember that one time that we have headshots on Monday at 5? Well, if you don't then you are now being reminded. 

This coming Monday, the 19th, from 5:00-7:00 we are getting our pictures taken at Scott Hancock Photography. The address is 214 Main St. Pleasant Grove, and make sure you wear a solid, dark colored shirt.  Make sure you come because we will be using these photos for the programs and other paraphernalia throughout the year! :)

Drama BBQ

Imagine a party with all the cool people you can think of.  This party has games, food, movies, and numerous other activities.  Now imagine this years Drama BBQ. Yeah, that's right.  These two parties? They are one and the same; the best, the most fun, and the coolest.  Be there or be square.

Date: September 16th (this Friday)

Location: 878 West Hayden Court, Alpine

2011 LPHS Shakespeare Team

Thanks to everyone who auditioned. This was truly one of the most difficult casting sessions we have ever been a part of; the level of talent and effort was monumental between auditions and call-backs.  There will be a mandatory cast meeting Monday August 29th, at 5:30 in Mr. Smiths classroom.

 Not everyone who auditioned was cast. Not everyone cast received their dream role. If you didn’t make the team, or are eager to participate beyond the scope of your role, we will have openings for individual event stage managers. Stage managers are crucial to the success of the competing monologues and scenes.
